How do I find out where Wedding Fairs are to be held?

The largest of the wedding fairs are held at the National Wedding Shows in London and Birmingham. You can find out dates and details at www.nationalweddingshow.co.uk  Other Wedding Fairs will be advertised in bridal magazines and those fairs specific to where you live will be advertised in local newspapers.

I want my wedding to be more environmentally friendly. Do you have any ideas?

If your wedding ceremony and reception are to be held at different venues, try to make sure the distance between them isn’t too great and arrange transport such as minibuses or coaches so that all cars are not being driven between the two venues.

Chose flowers that are in season instead of opting for imported blooms. Re-use your flowers by transporting them from your ceremony to your reception venue. After your wedding give your bouquets and table arrangements as gifts to your guests.

Create your invitations using recycled paper.

When you come to deciding on your cake, choose ornate icing, ribbons and fresh flowers instead of plastic items.
